Born on an American Air Force Base in Bittburg, West Germany. Graduated from University of Louisiana, Lafayette in Broadcast Communications. Worked at KLFY TV 10 for 11 years. Has been with 97.3 The Dawg a total of 11 years, and was named the GAVIN Country Music Director of the Year twice at The Dawg. Worked in Nashville TN on air at the Legendary WSM AM Radio station…home for the last 80 years to The Grand Ole Opry.

Two Children: Courtney Crist, who lives in Nashville TN and works for Grammy Award winning Songwriter Bob DiPiero, and Samuel Crist, who received the Purple Heart after being wounded in the Iraq War and is now an Ivy League college student.
