Brittany’s entry won her Mom free tickets and meet and greet tickets to see Kenny Chesney in N.O. with hotel accommodations, Dinner at Prejean’s Restaurant and a dozen roses from Spedale’s Florist. Here’s what Brittany’s letter said:

"My Mom is the BEST DAWGGONE MOM in the World and now that I’m a mom I realize that more and more everyday! She was a single mom of 2 working numerous Jobs just to make ends meet and put us through Catholic school along the way. Let me just tell you this one incident that will pretty much sum things up. I am 24 and one day recently my mom and I were eating pizza at Pizza Village and I handed her my crust and she said “baby why are you giving me your crust?” I said “because mom that is your favorite part. You use to eat me and Mindi’s (my sister) all the time”. With tears in her eyes she looked at me and said “no baby that’s not My favorite. I just couldn’t afford more than one pizza so I would eat your leftovers…little did I know, I felt so bad but it made me realize the extent she would go to give Us what we wanted and she would do without. SHE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!"
